We bought our 31 year old Northern Colorado home “sight unseen”, moving from out of state in 2015. We packed only our essentials into a 8 x 8 x 16 moving container to head to our new chapter with 2 cats, 2 small children and our dog. I was soon after diagnosed with breast cancer and the world was forced into lockdown. We never envisioned staying in this home for very long, but circumstances had other plans, so we focused on our growth and healing within it’s walls.

Now, I am 5 years cancer-free, but we are faced with challenges many homeowners encounter: rising interest rates, limited affordable inventory, aging parents, growing children, newfound interests and the desire for flexible living space. Our needs have changed, so why can’t our space? With this, the idea of “home healing” began and HouseRx was born.
